Here’s what you need to know about your RushCard account closure:
Your RushCard account will not accept deposits after June 16, 2023.
Any automatic payments you have set up with your RushCard account will not be processed after June 28, 2023.
You can continue to use your prepaid card to make purchases and ATM withdrawals through June 28, 2023. Any remaining funds on your RushCard account after June 28, 2023, will be mailed by check within 45 days of your account closing to the address we have on file.

Your Rushcard Prepaid Visa Card Account will close June 29, 2023. Your account will also stop accepting deposits after June 16, 2023. You can continue to use your prepaid card to make purchases and ATM withdrawals through June 28, 2023. Make sure to spend the remaining balance by this date.
If you have any remaining funds on your RushCard account, we will mail you a check for that amount within 45 days of your account closing to the address we have on file. Please log in to your account to confirm your mailing address is up to date.
You have through June 28, 2023, to spend the balance on your account as you will not be able to make any purchase or ATM withdrawals using your prepaid card after that date.
Any funds in your RushCard account after June 28, 2023, including any funds in your RUSHGOALS account will be refunded to you by check within 45 days. If you should need access to your RUSHGOALS funds sooner than that, you will want to transfer those funds to your RushCard Prepaid Card to make any purchases or ATM withdrawals through June 28, 2023.
Please log in to make sure that your contact information is up to date in case there are still funds on your account that require us to send you a check. Note, refunds under $1.00 may not be processed.
Your RushCard account will not accept deposits after June 16, 2023. If you receive direct deposit(s) to your RushCard account, you will need to update your direct deposit account information with your employer or government benefits provider as soon as possible. All deposits, including cash deposits attempted after this date will be rejected.

After June 16, 2023, any direct deposits to your RushCard Prepaid Visa Card will be rejected and the funds will be returned to the original sender. Therefore, you’ll need to update your direct deposit account information with your employer or benefits provider as soon as possible.

Any funds in your RushCard account after June 28, 2023, including funds in your RUSHGOALS account will be refunded to you by check within 45 days. If you should need access to your RUSHGOALS funds sooner than that, you will want to transfer those funds to your RushCard Prepaid Card. You will then have access to those funds to make purchases or ATM withdrawals through June 28, 2023.
You can update your contact information by logging in to your account online or in the app. On the app, tap My Settings and Contact Details to edit your mailing address. On the web, click Account Settings on the homepage then Contact Details and Edit Contact Details.
Go to Forgot Username/Password in the RushCard mobile app or at account.rushcard.com.
Provide your 16-digit card number, CVV code, and Social Security number.
Follow the instructions to reset your Login ID and/or Password.
You can request a replacement card in the app or by (866) 787-4227 until May, 24 2023. After this date, please call (866) 787-4227 for assistance.
You will continue to have access to your transaction history online and in the app for 120 days after account closure. Or you can also call (866) 787-4227 for transaction inquiries for up to 120 days after account closure. After this 120 day period, statements must be requested in writing to Green Dot Care PO Box 1070 West Chester, OH 45071-1070.
You will continue to have access to most features on your account online and in the app until June 29, 2023. After then, you will only be able to view your Account Activity and download your monthly statements for 120 days. For statement request after this 120 period, please write to:

If you received more than one GO2bank debit card in the mail, you only need to activate one of those cards to open a new GO2bank account.
You can then simply destroy the additional GO2bank debit card as that card has no value and is not active. The additional card was sent to ensure you did not miss out on the opportunity to transition to GO2bank.
If you opened your GO2bank account online, you will receive a GO2bank debit card with a chip that you should activate. You can then also destroy any non-chip card you might have received per above.
If you received a GO2bank offer in the mail, follow the simple steps to activate your debit card and open your GO2bank account. Or visit GO2bank.com/start to complete activation.
If you no longer have or did not receive a GO2bank debit card, you can open an account at GO2bank.com and we will mail your new GO2bank debit card to you.
Once you open an account online, your chip-enabled GO2bank card will be shipped to you and arrive in 7-10 days. Follow the simple steps on the card to activate and start using your new account.

Setting up direct deposit with GO2bank is easy! The GO2bank offer you received in the mail with your GO2bank debit card has your account number and routing number. Once you activated your debit card to open your GO2bank account, you can give this account information to your payroll or government benefits provider to set up direct deposit. You then should start receiving direct deposits to your new account within 1-2 pay cycles. You can also get your direct deposit info by logging in at GO2bank.com/directdeposit.
You can open an account quickly and easily online at GO2bank.com. Once you open your account, we will mail you a GO2bank Visa® debit card to activate along with information on how to fund your account. After you fund your account, you can use your GO2bank debit card everywhere Visa® debit is accepted in the U.S.
If you haven’t already opened a GO2bank account, you only need to activate one of those cards to open a new GO2bank account.
If you opened a GO2bank account online, you should activate the GO2bank debit card received within 7-10 days after opening your account that also has a chip in it.

The account number associated with the card you activate is specific to each card, please make sure to use the account and routing numbers associated with the card you activate when setting up direct deposit to your GO2bank account.

7In order for both the referred individual and the referring GO2bank accountholder to each qualify for and receive the $50 referral reward, the following conditions must be met: The referred individual may not have previously opened a GO2bank Deposit Account ("Account"); they must open a new Account between May 20, 2021 and June 30, 2023; they must open the new account using the referring GO2bank accountholder's unique referral (share) link directly or as shared through email or social post; and they must receive in the new Account a qualifying direct deposit of $200 or more within 45 days of account opening. The qualifying direct deposit must be made by the referred individual's employer, payroll provider, government benefits, or unemployment benefits payor by Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposit. Bank ACH transfers, debit card transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, tax refund deposits, mobile check cashing, and cash deposits are not qualifying deposit activities. Referring GO2bank accountholder and referred individual GO2bank accounts must both be in good standing to be eligible for and receive a reward. The reward is paid to each party within 48 hours after qualifying funds are first deposited into the referred individual's new Account. New and referring GO2bank accountholders may earn no more than $1,500 in referral rewards per calendar year (January 1 - December 31). Referred individual acknowledges that payment of the reward will result in the referring GO2bank accountholder's knowledge of the individual's new Account.
