Add money to your prepaid card

Use MoneyGram^® ExpressPayment^® service to fund your RushCard* at approximately 40,000 MoneyGram agent locations nationwide, including most Walmart and CVS/pharmacy. MoneyGram charges a fee of $3.95 for this service.

For many MoneyGram agent locations, including Walmart, please start by completing a blue ExpressPayment form with the following information:

For FormFree® locations, such as CVS/pharmacy, please follow these steps:

 Pick up the red MoneyGram phone - it will auto dial MoneyGram Customer Service.

 When prompted for the transaction type, select Load Prepaid Card from the menu list.

 Enter the telephone number that you used for your RushCard application.

 You will be connected to a live MoneyGram agent who will ask you to confirm your telephone number, name, address, 16-digit card number, the amount of cash you are loading and the receive code of the recipient (RushCard’s receive code is 2495).

 You will receive key information from the MoneyGram agent which you will want to write down.

 Take all key information to the cashier at the retail location who will collect the cash and the MoneyGram service Fee, and add the funds to your card.

1.  Go to a Nearby Agent Location
Take your RushCard and cash to any of the participating Western Union Agent® locations in the US.

2.  Complete the gray Prepaid Services Form
Write your 16 digit card number, cash load amount* and card name on the gray prepaid services form. Your card must be present at the time of the transaction.

3.  Present Payment
Give the clerk the gray form and your load amount* plus the Western Union prepaid services fee of $3.95. Your amount will usually be available for use within 30** minutes or less. Save your receipt with your Money Transfer Control number (MTCN)

How Does It Work?

It's simple! Add cash to your Prepaid Visa^® RushCard in Just a few steps.

1.   Visit a Green Dot MoneyPak retailer near you and pick up a MoneyPak from the Prepaid Product Section or Green Dot Display. MoneyPak is available at these retailers and more:

2.   Purchase the MoneyPak at the register with cash for the amount you wish to load. A service fee of $4.95 will be added to your purchase.

3.   Visit MoneyPak or call (800) GREENDOT to apply the funds* to your card using the MoneyPak number found on the back of the package or on your receipt. You will also need your RushCard Number.
